Reunion 2009 will be held at Hickory Knob State Park in South Carolina.  The dates of this reunion will be June 4 - June 7, 2009.  There will be a link at the bottom of this page where you can view the park and find directions.  It is filling up FAST so if you want to stay there  you better get on the ball.  There isn't a motel available within 20 miles on the South Carolina.  There is one motel in Lincolnton GA, approx. 10 miles away.

This reunion will be different in several ways.  The main difference is you will make your own reservations and be responsible for paying the park for your room/rooms.  You will need a credit card for this.  You will need to contact us to find out what to tell them when you call.  The amount of rooms are limited.  They do have camping sites for tent and RV camping.  Most of the rooms are motel room style with a coffee maker only, no kitchen facilities.  All of the rooms have two double beds.  That is another change.  There are no more 2 and 3 bedroom cabins available for your use. 

There is a golf course on the site and George Blankenship is the one to speak with about that if you are interested in golfing.  There are also several meeting rooms that will be available for our use if we need them.  Several other activities are also available: skeet shooting, archery range, horseshoes, volley ball, tennis, basketball, and more.

Another big difference is you will be responsible for your own meals.  There will be a set price for each meal, $9.50, and you can pay when you eat or put it on your room tab, which is guaranteed by your credit card.  I recommend that you bring a cooler and snacks along to keep in your room.  There are some snacks available in the gift shop also.  There is a convenience store about 2 - 3 miles from the park if you need something.
